Ashley & Ty Bush
From garage skits with cardboard sets and VHS camcorder epics, we’ve been telling stories, creating conflict, and building dreams since childhood. Ashley cut her teeth in Chicago’s theater and comedy scene. Writing, performing, and producing storefront musicals to sketch at The Second City, and iO. Ty, meanwhile, got his start in New York, crafting sets, props, and practical effects for Curious Pictures & The Atlantic Theater Company.

Lauren, a genuine idealist, passionately introduces yoga to her small, eclectic suburban town with the help of her business savvy colleague, Sonny, who is currently on house arrest, unintentionally creating a family of mismatched goofballs at ZenRoom.

It’s not every day we get the chance to live out our passion on set—and when we do, it’s the people who make the experience unforgettable. Every production is its own small universe, and every crew a constellation of unique talents, voices, and hearts.
Zenroom was no exception. From early call times to final takes, shooting during the early days of the pandemic, this team brought creativity, care, and grit to every moment. Whether behind the camera or in front of it, you each showed up with purpose and presence—and for that, we are deeply grateful.
